Liya Simon ‘25 [Coeditor in chief]

  • Liya is a senior from Durham, Connecticut. She is majoring in English and she worked as a stablehand through high school, so she has a special affinity for nature, the outdoors, and birds. She loves creative writing, especially poetry, and will gladly talk your ear off if given the opportunity.

Leslie Jiménez ‘26 [Community liason]

  • Leslie is a junior from Chicago, Illinois, leaning towards a Politics major and French minor. She likes Brokeback Mountain and other masochistic films. She is also a big fan of the National Museum of Mexican Art. You can find her whipping around in Riley’s Jeep. beep beep!!

Audrey Cole ‘25 [Website, senior editor]

  • Audrey is a junior from Minneapolis, Minnesota, majoring in English. She dreams of horses and summers in northern Minnesota, learns about herself through fictional characters, and suffers through cans of sparkling water to maintain her moral high ground. She writes on occasion (when the wind is just right).

Kiren Bagga ‘27 [Editor]

  • Kiren is a sophomore from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Her major is undecided, but she’s a humanities type of pre-med. Kiren loves a good accessory of any kind and her bag will always have lipstick, a digital camera, and probably some narcan. Even though it’s nearly impossible for her to ever finish a drink, you can often find her at the Ronj.

Milo Gold ‘27 [Visual arts committee]

  • Milo Gold is from Brooklyn, New York and enjoys making and listening to music, taking pictures and frisbee. He aspires to one day make and listen to more music, take more pictures and play even more frisbee. He has a radio show with his two friends and is a visual contributer and visual editor.

Abigail Sellnow ‘27 [Editor]

  • Abigail Sellnow is a freshman from Upstate NY & is a member of the swim team!! She loves iced chai with cinnamon, reading, and picking out outfits to procrastinate. You can probably find her with her friends or on Pinterest wishing she had unlimited money!

  • Talia Skaistis is a senior Creative Writing major who calls both New York City and Austin home. She enjoys blackout poetry, playing Adrianne Lenker songs on guitar, and swimming long distances in lakes. She wants to learn how to drive this year!

  • Simon is a junior from San Francisco, California. He likes to swim in the ocean, read lots of books, and dribble with the boys.

Gail Curtis ‘26 [Senior editor, historian]

  • Gail is a junior from Rockport, Maine. She loves spending time by the ocean and in the woods. Gail also enjoys hot cocoa, ginger tea, fantasy novels, swimming in lakes, and writing.

Emma Kim ‘27 [Social media]

  • Emma is a freshman from Burlington, Vermont, leaning towards a double major in biochemistry and English. She loves binging films to put on her Letterboxd, long walks on the beach, diet coke and is currently trying to teach herself how to crochet a balaclava (she probably will not finish it and end up knitting another scarf). Emma also co-manages the Snag social media.

  • Kennedy Mathis is a first year from Brooklyn, New York. She enjoys taking photos, reading a good book, and spending time with friends. When she’s not doing those things you may find her doing varying sizes of crossword puzzles.

Clementine Paarlberg ‘27 [Visual arts committee]

  • Clem is from Brooklyn and enjoys a solid everything bagel and kicking the ball around with friends. Her favorite TV show is Psych and she aspires to be a crazy good drummer or maybe learn how to play basketball.

  • Audrey Esteves is a junior from New Jersey majoring in Arts and Visual Culture and American Studies and loves printmaking and cracking jokes. You can find them on Boyz Porch with the Boyz sometimes. If you’re wondering what’s on their iPhone, you can’t see, because they have a privacy screen.

Julia Neumann ‘25 [Senior editor]

  • Julia is an environmental science major & rain lover from the high desserts in UT. She's a fan of a good mythical creature and the real ones too. If it's a windy day she might be at the giant steps with a few friends hand in hand. She loves warm drinks and warm hugs for the nibbles of Maine winter.

  • Charlotte is from Richmond, Virginia, and she intends to double major in Gender and Sexuality Studies and History. She enjoys going on walks in the snow, crocheting, soft sweaters, getting into a bed with clean sheets, and Commons desserts. Charlotte co-manages the Snaggletooth social media.

  • Caroline McCarthy is a junior from Hamden, Connecticut majoring in English. She spends her time growing veggies and herbs in her garden, baking with measurements from the heart, and doing crossword puzzles. She is a frequent patron of Le Ronj where you can typically find her talking a little too loudly with her friends.

  • Keira is a senior from Maplewood, New Jersey majoring in History. When she’s not doing Snaggletooth-related things, she likes to knit and craft. She also plays piano-- she’s been on a Debussy kick. Her go-to midnight snack varies, but she always likes cookies.

  • Colin is a sophomore from Ocean City, Maryland. He's majoring in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. He enjoys any book by Brandon Sanderson, days without any wind, Irish goodbyes, and making himself laugh. His dogs are named Scout and Schmolze and he has a favorite.

  • Mimi is a first year from Provincetown, Massachusetts, and hopes to graduate with an interdisciplinary major focused on art, anthropology, and climate justice. She likes dance parties, dragons, and wearing patterned clothing. You might her frolicking in nature or attending literally any Bates affiliated Club meeting. During her lifetime, she hopes to travel everywhere, meet everyone, and try everything at least once.
